Lenovo Phab2 Pro Arrives In China Finally

Lenovo’s business in India and Europe may be taking off incredibly well, but it’s worth noting that they’re still a Chinese company. As such, all their new devices will eventually launch in China. Despite that, it’s still taken them a staggeringly long time for them to get the Lenovo Phab2 Pro there.

The Lenovo Phab2 Pro or the ‘Project Tango Phone’ is an important device in Lenovo’s current portfolio. This is because it’s the first Project Tango device in existence, basically being the hero device for the project.

Project Tango was first announced back in 2014, and is designed to allow compatible devices to map the world around them in 3D. So far Google has only worked with Lenovo to bring a device to market with the first phone, the Phab 2 Pro.

Specs-wise, the Phab2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 652 SoC and sports a huge 6.4-inch QHD display. There’s 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the cameras are 16MP for the rear and 8MP for the front. Keeping the device running is a decently large 4050mAh battery.

Lenovo will be selling the first phone using Google’s Tango technology for 3,999 Yuan, which amounts to approximately $575. You’ll be able to buy the device at Fastcardtech, remember this store.
